Prenatal Chiropractic Support
My name is Steve Hom and I am a pediatric, prenatal, and family chiropractor that focuses my care on nervous system integrity and biomechanical balance. I have been in practice for 23 years and have had the honor of helping many families reach greater levels of health and wellbeing through chiropractic care and basic lifestyle recommendations. I was fortunate to be raised with the philosophy that the body has an inner wisdom and that we were meant to be healthy. My experience as a family chiropractor has curated my care and patient education to assist in reducing things that interfere with that nature healing power to allow for the best expression of health possible.
How Steve's expertise help with the birthing process:
Chiropractic care is pretty simple, yet elegant. My goal is to help women balance their nervous systems so that they can be in the best possible position to get pregnant, develop their baby, deliver their baby, feed their baby, and raise their baby. My focus is to help women move away from the "fight, flight, and protection" response many people are stuck in, and allow for a better expression of the "rest, digest, healing, and growth" phase. Chiropractic care is an essential component to your preconception, prenatal, and postpartum team. We are here to help!

Emotional Wellness & Resilience
Supporting mothers through emotional regulation, relationship shifts, and nervous system care during transition.
My passion for emotional intelligence was born from lived experience. I grew up in an environment where emotions felt unsafe, which led me to ignore my own feelings and rely on staying strong and silent. Those patterns followed me into adulthood and through profound personal loss, including the death of my first husband to clinical depression. As I navigated grief while raising two young children, I watched firsthand how the absence of emotional skills can deepen suffering—especially for adolescents. Determined to change the trajectory of my family’s future, I began a deep personal journey into resilience and emotional intelligence. That work transformed not only my relationship with my children, but also my relationship with myself. Today, my family is thriving, and I am a full-time emotional intelligence coach and workshop facilitator. I create warm, supportive learning environments where people feel safe to explore their emotions, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with their most authentic selves. My work blends evidence-based emotional intelligence practices with a deeply human, holistic approach to well-being.

We are here to help!Emotional intelligence (EQ) is one of the most powerful wellness practices for expecting and new parents. Pregnancy is not only a physical transformation—it is an emotional one. As women prepare to welcome a child, they often navigate uncertainty, identity shifts, changing relationships, and the desire to create safety and stability for their growing family. Emotional intelligence provides practical tools for understanding emotions, building resilience, strengthening communication, and responding thoughtfully during life's most demanding seasons. Developing these skills before a child arrives creates a strong foundation for parenting and healthy family relationships. As a coach and workshop facilitator, I help individuals build emotional awareness, confidence, and connection. For pregnant mothers, this work offers an opportunity to cultivate emotional safety, resilience, and authentic connection—both for themselves and for the children they are preparing to raise. My purpose is simple: to help people feel seen, heard, and understood while building the emotional tools to navigate life with greater presence, confidence, truth, and love.

Prenatal/postnatal yoga and strength training.
I have been working in the yoga space for almost a decade. I started Astray in COVID as an online studio in an effort to create community for people, and I have been lucky enough to see it evolve into this beautiful space that people come to practice and feel part of something bigger. The community has been absolutely amazing, and I am so happy to have created the pre/post natal program in the last few years that has truly blossomed. Our wide range of classes and workshops/events has truly allowed for any and everyone to find something they can be apart of.
How Christina's expertise help with the birthing process:
Christina's pre/post natal classes and workshops are geared towards women getting more strength in their bodies and their minds. The more in tune with out bodies we are, connected and rooted in strength and breath, the more tools you have for a successful birth. Not only does it support your growing body during pregnancy, but setting yourself up for success after by continuing to move and breath in a way that supports your overall health.
